Texas Election Code Chapter 65 Compliant
The Kerr County Republican Party is calling on volunteers to participate in hand count training for the upcoming primary runoff election. This training will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 PM at Faith Christian Church.
Volunteers play a critical role in ensuring election integrity. This training prepares participants to assist with vote counting conducted in accordance with Chapter 65 of the Texas Election Code, which governs the manual counting of ballots and the preparation of official election returns. Attendees will learn proper procedures for ballot handling, tallying, and documentation to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with state law.
